I have always been one of those people who loves to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for others, which is why I started looking at landscaping design in the first place. It was incredible to me to see how much of a difference I was able to make by adding a few new plants, and after that first project, I wanted to help other people. I started volunteering to help friends and neighbors do their landscaping, and after a few months, I had developed quite a following. This blog is all about creating a warm, inviting yard through smart landscaping and an eye for detail.
Have you just received a promotion? Perhaps you have started your own business and you have a new office from which you will do your work. No matter the reason you are decorating a new office, from selecting the furniture to buying plants for the office, here are some ideas that might help.
The Plan - Think about what you will be doing in your office.
The Extra Touches - Here's where you get to express your personality the most. No matter what else you do for decorations, don't forget to include family photos and photos of friends. Select frames that match the decor. For example, if you want an elegant office, consider framing the pictures in gold or silver.
If you decide to use plants for the office, think about how you will care for them. Consider buying succulents which don't require a great deal of care. Another idea is to purchase silk plants that require very little care. All you have to do is dust them off every now and then, and then they'll look like new. If you are set on having real plants, don't forget to keep a mister and a watering can in your office. It might be good to set a schedule for yourself that reminds you of when the plants need to be watered.
