I have always been one of those people who loves to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for others, which is why I started looking at landscaping design in the first place. It was incredible to me to see how much of a difference I was able to make by adding a few new plants, and after that first project, I wanted to help other people. I started volunteering to help friends and neighbors do their landscaping, and after a few months, I had developed quite a following. This blog is all about creating a warm, inviting yard through smart landscaping and an eye for detail.
Before you start building the house of your dreams, you need to make sure that you have the perfect place to do it. This means more than just having a good property for it; it also means that you should make sure that the property is prepared so that you have somewhere to actually build. In order to do that, you need to hire a company that does land clearing so that they can get everything ready for you. What can a landscaping company that does land clearing do for you?
Bush Hogging
One of the things that they can do for you is something called bush hogging. This is when they bring in a big machine and start clearing out all the brush, shrubbery, and whatever kinds of grasses and weeds that might exist in any area. The machine will cut all that stuff down so that it can be hauled away and you can start with a fresh surface. The reason to use a big machine to do this job is that it is going to be too much for lawnmowers to handle, and trying to clear all that area out by hand can take a lot of time and elbow grease to get it done. The bush hog will do it all quicker, more efficiently, and leave a better result.
Tree/Stump Removal
Having trees on your property can be all well and good, unless you can't put your house where you want it because there is a big tree smack dab in what would be your front room. You can talk to the company that is doing the land clearing for you to see if they can cut down the tree for you or if they contract with a company that can it for you. You will also want to check to see what is going to happen to the stump when the tree is cut down. You don't want to leave the stump there, because it will get in the way. Nor do you want the stump to just be cut down level to the ground. You will want it to be removed as much as possible, so check to see how that stump will be handled.
If you are going to build your dream house, you need to make sure that you have all the land cleared out so that there is room for your house to be built and for the contractor to do their job.
